You don't make me happy anymore...
"I love you but you don't make me happy anymore..."
How many times have we heard this problem from friends, family, if not our own spouse? How about, "If I'm not happy my kids see this therefore, they are better off if we are apart."
I ask you to consider this. Can any one person really MAKE you happy? Wow, what pressure that is to put on someone. "YOU are responsible for making me happy!" If these are thoughts that you are having, I ask you to look inside yourself and not to your spouse and meditate on things that YOU could start doing for YOURSELF that would give you joy, peace and happiness.
I used to feel that I would be happier if my spouse would only do this or that until I realized that REAL happiness comes from within. If you are happy with yourself, you can be happy with almost anyone. Especially one that you love.
