Read The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman
Take a bath together non-sexually. This is our time to read, learn about each other, and be a student of our mate. This is a recipe to come back from a near death (of marriage) experience. The hugest book for my wife and I. Is the Five love languages. You may express love, but in a way that is not received the same way it would be received by you. It would be as if you spoke different languages. Take the test, learn your mates language, and you wont be sorry. I think multiple copies should be donated to your church libraries.
I have the one for children too, which supposedly takes the romantic and sensual elements out of the book. I have not read that one yet.
