Waffles/Spaghetti

     Bill and Pam Farrel are a husband and wife team who have helped plenty of men and women come to a better understanding of one another and enjoy their relationships more. They have come up with a way to teach the different ways men and women think and communicate, insight which can help both sexes a great deal and make for happier interacting. They teach how the male tendency to compartmentalize and the female tendency to connect things need to be understood, remembered, and appreciated.

     Among their books are Men Are Like Waffles, Women Are Like Spaghetti and Single Men Are Like Waffles, Single Women Are Like Spaghetti (maybe you can figure out the titles). Their writings are entertaining, readable, and helpful.

A reader says ... Men Are Like Waffles, Women Are Like Spaghetti while slightly amusing, was of very little value to me.  Unfortunately like most books in it's genre, it offered nothing but damaging stereotypes and sexism. As a realistic non-crazy egalitarian, I found I had very little in common with spaghetti and my husband found even less in common with waffles. Books like this can sometimes be damaging because, people are people and men & women have more in common than not.
