Feature Films for Families--Movies with good morals in an immoral world
Feature Films for Families has provided my family with clean, moral movies for years. At first they offered strictly videos, but now in the age of DVD, they offer these as well. They have recently extended beyond just movies and offer children's activity books about the movies they've seen, with fun things to do such as word puzzles, hidden pictures, color puzzles, word searches, crosswords..., movie sound tracks, even stuffed animals. They even offer free DVD's if you'll be their "critic"- for more information, go to www.familytv.com
Forrest S. Baker III, founder of Feature Films for Families, believes that creating movies that uplift, teach and entertain our precious children will combat the violent, suggestive and edgy material that Hollywood offers quite liberally. He believes that we should instill the important values that have stood the test of time.
Families like you and I, struggle every day with protecting our children's eyes and ears from the garbage they receive from TV, even some G rated movies. We feel helpless in a media bombarded with violence and fowl language.
Feature Films for Families has committed themselves to providing good, clean entertainment to make our world a better place. A place where we can leave the room, with our children viewing a movie un-supervised, without having to worry about what is filling their impressionable minds.
They offer a wide variety of movies; some you may have heard of offered on your cable channels--City Boy, Walking Across Egypt, Borrowed Hearts, The Trial of Old Drum, Breaking Free, The ButterCream Gang,Where the Red Fern Grows...many, many more!
The first movies I'd seen as a child were Picture Perfect(an absolute favorite of mine-not to be confused with the Jennifer Aniston movie), Scamper the Penguin(great animation--very cute movie), Hockey Night, Jacob's Harvest, The Christmas Wish, Space Camp...
I am so excited to pass these down to my daughter. Here are some comments from others who share my sentiments.
I really enjoyed the movie "Picture Perfect" that I just received. I hated to turn it off to get ready for work, but I finished it after work.

The whole family saw "No More Baths" -- Mike, 11, Lindsey, 13, Ashley, 15, my wife and me. Ashley insisted she wasn't going to see some "kids" movie. Afterwards, she decided it was a good movie.

After seeing "Who Gets the House?" I wanted other family members to see it also. I thought it was very well done. Because I've gone through a divorce, I related to the trauma and tension expressed in the family and I like how it emphasized that family problems can be resolved. I would recommend it to anyone.
