REEL MOMS - Bring your baby to the movies!.
Hey Mom & Dad! Did you just have a new baby? Do you desperately need a night out, but can't find a babysitter? Loews Cineplex has the answer for you!
On Tuesdays and Saturdays at participating theatres, you can bring your baby to the movies. Yes, really! Not only do they allow it, they encourage it.
Stroller check is available; admission for grown-ups is regular ticket price, babies are free.
The Reel Moms events are baby-friendly by keeping the lights dimmed. The bathrooms are equipped with changing tables; breastfeeding and baby talk is welcomed.
The films shown, are selected with new parents in mind. They show the latest and hot new releases that you may be interested in seeing (check their website www.enjoytheshow.com/reelmoms for showtimes and movies they're showing).
You might ask, what if my baby cries?
No one seems to mind if your baby cries because at any given time there could be several crying babies and no one seems to notice. Everyone is in the same situation so they are not bothered by it. Parents are free to get up and walk in the aisles or lobby area with baby. They keep the sound low enough, not to startle your little ones, yet loud enough to be heard over any fussing.
The age range of the babies is generally newborn to 1 year.
