How long to the first kiss?
The start of this story begins after the loss of my first wife. I began to look for someone new, and at church I noticed someone who I met at the front door of the church one Sunday. I asked if we could set together in church and she said yes. After a few weeks I asked her for a date to have ice cream together. She said yes.
She arrived by walking to my home and we enjoyed each other's company talking away the topics of conversation one by one. I took her home and walked her to the front door.
After each other date I took her on, I walked away and did not attempt a kiss. But today would be different. I was on the porch with her and her back to the door. I asked her the question "May I give you a kiss.” and she said yes.
We moved close together and our lips met and then they parted. Later I asked what she thought of our first kiss and she said yes.
