Floating Hearts
My boyfriend recently did this for me and I found it incredibly sweet. Start the day off by getting their favorite candy. If you dont know it or if they dont have one get them SOMETHING that is their favorite. Make it simple though, you wouldn't want to foreshadow that you have something romantic later on. Pick a room in your house to make your 'floating hearts'. What you do is buy some thread, buy colored paper*(preferably pinks & reds)*, cut out hearts, and tape the thread from the paper heart to the ceiling. When you cut out the hearts make sure to not make them all solid hearts. Not only would you waste paper but there wouldn't be much of a variety. Make different sizes and cut a heart from a heart. You might also want to write on these floating hearts. Right reasons of why you adore him/her. you can also cut out smaller solid hearts and scatter them around the floor of the room.
