the day i found my true love
Ever get that feeling when you are totally in love and time literally stands still??
Well that's how I felt that day I met Mike. I was 19 and we had been talking via online and phone for the past 3 years. His voice deep and masculine, his personality shinning like a star...his passion for life burned like the wild fire at a campsite.
We met at the airport when he was flying in for a family wedding and we met up for the first time.
His eyes were a such a precious blue and knowing his face from a picture. We locked gazes instantly...he came up to me with 4 flowers.. 1 pink, 1 peach, 1 white and 1 red ...of roses.... with baby's breath and lovely greenery...inside the card was written...Pink For a Lady, Peach for the lovely feminine woman, White for a lady so pure and Red for the fire she has within her spirit! "My dear, you have the twinkle of a thousand stars in your eyes!" and with the tears in my eyes of seeing this man for the first time he engulfed me into his arms and swept his mouth across mine. This sweet delicious moment that I have waited for such a long time!
At 19 I was experiencing what most people search for a lifetime and some never find it.
After a long kiss and hug we jumped a taxi and went into the hotel to where he was staying at. What happened at that hotel room will forever stay between me and my now husband.
I will never forget the look in his eyes when he asked me to marry him.
And as a close this was my proposal
"My dearest love, you have the love of a 1000 hearts. You complete me and always did.. Until I met you I never knew who I was. You came into my life so unexpectedly and i loved every minute...when I am not with you my life stands still until I see your glowing face and take you into my arms.
Would be ever so kind ((as dropping to one knee and opening up a 3.2 carat pear shaped white gold diamond studded band diamond ring)) and make me the luckiest and happiest man in the world and be my other half by making me your husband?"
With me in tears I could only give a kiss to be my answer!!!
