God will Provide Love

It started at Church. My husband and I were not yet husband and wife. I barely knew him, but I knew he was a good man. He led Sunday school. He hosted potluck dinners. He was a reader during Bible Study. Pastor Dan confirmed my suspicions--John was a good man. I loved John for a full year before I acted upon my feelings. One day, after Church, I asked him if he would have coffee with me. We agreed upon a date and a place, and we met at Starbucks to talk about how God figured into our lives. I told him that God always showed me the path when I prayed to Him, and John told me that he experienced the same thing.

Then I told John that I had prayed a lot about who I should marry and repeatedly came up with the same answer--I should marry John, whose name was the same as John The Baptist, a person whom I could trust and live the good life with. Completely astounded, John told me that he had had the same exact prayer experience and that God had told him that he, like John the Baptist, was pure at heart. Even better, God had told John that he would marry the woman who compared him to John the Baptist--and that was me! We had an amazing afternoon, talking about our love for God and, eventually, our love for each other and how we were meant to be together. I never believed in love at first sight until God had made that available to me--and how wonderful it is! I felt like I had found my other half. Bless Jesus! Alleluia! I am so grateful to the Divine Power for bringing me my love.

So, after a Starbucks hot chocolate, we agreed upon a wedding date. December 25th, the date of the birth of Holy Jesus Christ! It seemed so right! Our love seemed so holy, as if we had been ordained by God Himself to be married! And married we were, and it was so beautiful. I felt God touch me personally as I professed my wedding vows. And let me tell you, waiting until marriage for sexual activity is worth every minute! My lover and I had the MOST AMAZING NIGHT OF OUR LIVES when we consumed our marriage. Neither of us had experienced sex before, but God was with us and He made sure that we had an entirely amazing first night of marriage. I cannot even explain the amazing feelings of fulfillment that I felt. It was so beautiful, I was literally in tears.

God has a plan for you. He wants you to be happy and He wants you to find the love of your life -- you simply have to listen and to surrender to His power! He, the Lord Almighty, says that anyone who makes you feel small, worthless, or under-appreciated is NOT what God has in mind for you! God wants you to be with someone who will respect you, who will support you in your decisions, who will be there when you need help, who will stand by you in times of trial and tribulation. God wants you to find someone who WILL make you happy. God is love and joy and peace. If your life is not happy, then you must work conscientiously to change it. God bless you all!

A reader says ... I agree most heartedly with the writer that our most loving God certainly does desire for us to experience much happiness through marriage.
