Contest - Love Poem - Valentine for My Husband
Let this small verse for you be gift,
As love was gift to us from Him,
And let our voices upward lift,
In thanks and praise, a loving hymn.
For He did calm our pain and fear,
And gave us hope where none had been,
So to deny His present dear
Would be a thankless, selfish sin.
The pains of life cannot survive
Where love is by two people shared.
The Lord will keep our love alive
And strong as on the day we paired.
You vowed forever to be mine;
Our love eternally shall shine.
