God's word is the difference
In this life and marriage for that matter, the word of God is what can bring a difference between a good marriage and a bad one. If both parties in this relationship understand God's grace and therefore have love and patience in their marriage relationship, they will not see most of the problems others do. This means both parties should be committed to living to glorify God and to please each other and know that there will be a price to pay if they do not go understand God's grace and therefore they argue over issues and follow worldly (the law) and selfish ideas. "What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses his own soul”. The law can not save, only God's grace can save.
