My wife thinks it's not normal for me to feel upset sometimes over her
beeing married before to someone else.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for contacting MarriageRomance.com for coaching. I read your information and believe it is normal for a husband to have doubts sometimes over his wife being married before to someone else.
This is one of the reasons why God hates divorce. Because not only do the kids get split between parents but also the new husband can have doubts about whether his wife loves her original husband more than him.
You should not get mad at your wife but it is normal to have some doubts about her love. But you need to remember you knew this before you married her and so you need to accept it and trust her and trust God that she loves you.
Your wife needs to understand that this is normal. My wife was previously married and her husband left her and we have been married for 22 years and I still at times wonder if she would want her husband back if he wanted to come back.
Your wife needs to show you extra special love to help you overcome this temptation of doubt instead of arguing about it. She needs to learn that emotions are not wrong - they just are. Your emotions of doubt will keep going away as she and you build bonds of love and as she earns your love by showing you she loves you.
