Who will win?
Before I was married, I attended James Dobson's series of movies on the family. The only things that I remember from that series was his statement, "Children only fight in areas they think they can win". As our children have been born, and as a school teacher, I remember that statement often. When my children/students begin to whine, or fuss, I realize that they believe they have some hope of winning this battle, and it reminds me to be consistent so they know that I am the leader, and not them.
