Worth the Wait
As I stand outside the doors watching my bride's maids walk down the aisle, thoughts run through my head. This is my day. The day I have waited for. It seemed like it took forever to get here, but now it only seems like yesterday that I made the commitment to God not to have a romantic relationship except for with the one I was to marry. And now here I stand. The doors are opening. My father slowly begins to walk me down the aisle. I look into the eyes of my soon to be husband. Yes, it was worth the wait. He takes my hand from my father. Soon we will be joined together as one. God is so good. He knew this wonderful man was waiting for me before I even did. I'm glad I waited. Now I know why I waited. I waited for this moment. The moment when I say, "I do."
