Indu, on that day went to the reception of her friend Neha's marriage. Their entire friends group was there. They were classmates and now all of them settled in their lives except Neha and Indu who were concentrating on their professions. Now that Neha also entered into the marriage womb Indu was the only one still unmarried girl.
The party was organized very well and the crowed was good. The live band started playing music and Neha the bride and her groom started the dancing and slowly all the couples joined the dance floor. As all her friends were dancing with her husbands, Indu left alone. Indu slowly sipping her soft drink was watching the couples on the floor. She heard a deep masculine voice from behind, asking her “Can I have this dance?" Indu saw him at the time of the marriage. He was the friend of the groom and acted as Best man in the marriage. But she did not know his name. Indu felt it was not good manners to refuse, so she put down her glass on near by table and walked with him to the dance floor. He introduced himself as Sam.
Till then the live band was playing slow melodies, suddenly changed the music into fast a loud salsa .Sam took her hand and twirled her, and they began the teasing flirting dance, the salsa. Her thick dark hair was gleaming with blue lights and Sam found himself amazed at her beauty. He felt as if he was in dream world. The music changed and couples started waltz, When Sam held Indu so close during the waltz, he felt her body mould against him like a glove, it took a lot of energy for Sam to focus on dancing rather than the sensations Indu stirred in him. Indu thought that Sam had a smile that was disarming, and somehow touched her heart. Indu felt that she was getting attracted towards Sam. As soon as she felt that she is being pulled towards Sam, she became scared and Indu said, it's getting late and she had to leave. Indu bid fare well to her friends and left. From the next day she immersed herself into her work and tried to forget Sam, but she was remembering again and again his smile, and the way he danced with her and found herself thinking more about him.
That was Sunday. She was in her garden watering the plants, which she enjoys every Sunday, even though she had a gardener to take care of it. At that time she received the phone call from Sam, asking her to go out for dinner. As Indu always kept herself busy, she neither had a boy friend nor went on a date. But when Sam invited her on a date, she could not refuse it. She said yes. Sam told her that he would pick her up at 7.30 pm.
The whole day passed for Indu as if she was in dream. By 7 pm she was ready. She had taken a shower and she dressed up in an elegant beautiful dress. She left her hair loose except the front portion of her hair she tied up with a diamond clip, so that it won't fall on her face. Indu had very beautiful silky hair, which is thick and long! She did not wear much jewelry. Just diamond tops, a gold chain with diamond pendent. On hands she was wearing diamond Bracelet and on her left hand wristwatch. Indu was looking beautiful and classy. Indu 's skin is very clear and transparent. She was looking very delicate just like a rose flower. The excitement was making the blood flow into her face and making it look like as if she was blushing!
Sam was wearing white suit. He was looking very handsome. Indu missed her heartbeat seeing Sam. His sharp jaw was indicating his stubbornness in achieving his goals. His wide shoulders were indicating his capacity to bear any sort of responsibility with ease. He was looking at his watch shows his impatience in waiting! Sam looked into Indu's eyes smiled and took the hand of Indu in his hand and said "hello Indu!" so saying kissed her hand. The touch of Sam electrified Indu. Sam thought he never saw such a delicate soft hands. The way his lips touched her hands made Indu blush! Shall we go asked Sam, and Indu just followed him in silence.
They reached the hotel where Sam has made reservations well in advance. So as soon as they entered, the maitre d’hotel came and took them to their table near the dance floor and also which was in a secluded corner giving them the privacy. He took the order and it seems Sam knows him well, so both of them had few pleasantries and he went to bring their order.
In the meanwhile their drinks have come. Sam handed over Indu her drink and started sipping his drink looking at Indu. The music started and couples started joining the Dancing floor. Sam looked at Indu, standing and extending his hand asked" May I have the privilege “ Indu put her hand in his and stood up, Sam directed her to the Dance floor. Sam catching Indu' s hand with one hand, and the other hand putting on her waist pulled her to him. Indu slowly lifted her hand and put it on his shoulder. Indu thought that Sam could dance really well. His body was moving lightly along with the music and sensually he was moving his body against Indu and molding her to him. For Indu it was just like a dream! Suddenly the music changed into fast beat. Sam immediately changed their steps to match to the fast beat. When they step away for each other with the music, the way Sam looking at Indu was making her feel that she could not stay away from him. And when both of them came near he was almost hugging her in such a provocative way as if he was making love to her. It's an exhilarating experience for Indu.
They were dancing till almost dawn. Both of them enjoying the touch of their bodies and feeling, if they leave the dance floor they may not be able to touch each other again! It was almost 2am. Indu felt it was very late and hesitatingly suggested to Sam that they should better leave. Sam paid the bill and they left the restaurant. While driving Indu home, Sam chatted lightly. Indu felt she never thought that her first date would be so good. They reached Indu's home, and Sam got down and came to Indu's side opened the door. Indu got down from the car and lifted her face to thank Sam for such a lovely evening, and found him so near; she could not utter a single word. Sam touched Indu's lips with his lips and kissed her lingeringly and without knowing herself Indu's body arched towards Sam. Sam pulled her to him and the kissed her. Then Sam released her said goodnight and drove away. Indu felt that she was falling in love with Sam.
