A love grown through writting
My Fiance and I have been together for 2 years and look forward to getting married next summer. We have lived apart our entire time together and obviously enjoy the free Cingular cell to cell option as we talk everyday. Talking on the phone as many know is not however the most romantic or a good forum for deep questions and many people like to hash their thoughts out on paper.
We are those types and have been keeping a running journal since very early in our relationship. We exchange the journal ever visit (usually every 6 weeks) and read what the other has written. In the journal we write about long term issues. What we want our lives to look like in 5 10 20 years. It has been an awesome way to breach subjects that face to face or even over the phone are hard to talk about initially or just do not come up in day to day conversation. More so it has been exciting to go back and read what we wrote earlier and see how our relationship has grown and expanded.
We plan on journaling to each other even after we are married and living together as it is a romantic and permanent way to watch your relationship evolve. I would recommend it to anyone in a serious relationship, and to you guys out there, girls just eat up the romanticism of it.
