Will you be my girlfriend?
I was invited by my friend of over 15 years to go to Key west with him and his family. He had recently come out of a relationship as I did too. However, it had past 2 months since we began talking and getting in touch with each other again. I was falling in love with every phone conversation we had what was three hours felt like 30 minutes on the phone. We got along very well and I was experiencing what true love really is and all it could be.
The trip started beautifully, we began by him introducing me to all his family. The morning after we went to the beach with his whole family and that night we began the festivities by playing family games. It was a great game that was planned out entirely by him. The couples of the family would ask each other questions to see how much each one knows about each other. Girls went first then guys.
When it went around his turn. He popped the question " Would you like to be my girlfriend?" I was so happy and of course I said yes! The remainder of the trip was a dream come true. I thank God that he has blessed me with such a wonderful lifelong friend.
