I once had a anniversary that went really well.
I made plans to take my lady out on the town.
First I got a deal for a mid afternoon hot air balloon ride where we ate her favorite food and danced under the stars afterwards. Then I had the house prepared with flowers and soft music and rose petals anywhere that you could image them being. The setting was beautiful due to us having a ocean view house with tons of glass that reflected for each and every candle. The night breeze was sooo nice!
