First Day
You were only fifteen
when we met for the first time,
Saw you from across the room
that's when we locked eyes,
“Oh my she's beautiful”
The thought ran through my head,
So struck I could not speak
just stood and smiled instead,
Could a girl with everything
ever love someone like me?
Thought it wasn't possible
but it – never hurts to dream,
I remember that first day
it was the first day of my life,
Started counting down the days...till I
could make you my wife!

What it was you saw in me?

But ever since that 1st day
my love for you has grown,
Could have been somewhere else

But I'm glad I was there to meet you
