It was sooo worth it!
When my husband Kevin and I first became engaged, I had so many feelings and emotions running through me. What a wonderful life we would have together, not to mention all the details of the wedding I had been planning since I was twelve. The most daunting fear was that of our wedding night. As our wedding date approached we had many discussions about how we had fantasized and envisioned our first night together. Kevin and I who were both 23 years old when we married saved ourselves.
Well, finally our wedding day came and went and as we were leaving our reception the sexual tension in the limo could have been cut with a butter knife. Our whole lives we had waited, anticipated and longed for the moment that was about to happen.
When we finally made it to our honeymoon suite, the ambiance was perfect for first time lovers, their were flickering candles and rose petals everywhere (courtesy of our planner)
Kevin took the champagne of the ice while I went to the bathroom to take off my dress and control the massive emotions I was feeling. When I emerged from the bathroom, my emotions and senses intact something amazing happened. My new husband took me in his arms and began a journey we had waited our whole lives to take. It was like we could read each other's minds, our first time was passionate loving caring and most of all....gooood!
When we returned from our honeymoon I joked with my friends about how everyone who told me as a virgin that sex was overrated did me a huge favor, if I had known it was this good, who knows what would've happened!
