What does it mean???
I have been divorced almost four years. I have always been in love with my ex-wife. Unfortunately she remarried two weeks after our divorce and I have never stopped loving her. I am content with how my life has turned out, she gave me custody of both of our kids and that itself has been a great blessing. I am most proud of being a single dad and raising my two kids. They are now 8 and 5.
Recently, my ex-wife gave me a Christmas gift that I did not expect to get from her and I sit and wonder what she is telling me. She gave me a CD full of love songs; such as, one love forever, one true love, and so forth. The following she sent me a letter basically saying only if she knew what she knows now and how her life may have been had she stayed and fought through our problems. In addition, she finally apologized for hurting me and goes to say she still feels I am a wonderful man. I interpret this as her not being happy and having regrets.
My dilemma is, she is married, I still love her as much as I did when we first married. I do not want to pursue this simply because she is married to someone else and has a kid with him. I would like to get some advice on what this can possibly mean.
Please advise I feel confused.
