Lord's Gift
The day had been perfect and the night was expected to be the same. We were now husband and wife and raced toward our cabin in the mountains. After arriving we both could barely contain our excitement. She went into the bedroom and began making preparations, as I carried in our luggage.
In just a few moments she returned in a beautiful white lace nightgown. I wanted to rip it off her, but she took my hand and led me into a candlelit bedroom with soft music playing.
We kissed, explored, and enjoyed the Lord's gift several times that evening. What a blessing that still causes my heart to race, even though it happened so many years ago!
