Separated lover promises to wait
I know we have discussed this before, but now that you are
several continents away and many years of education between us,
it will remain an issue of discussion. But I want you not only
to hope but to be sure of this one thing, that your page is as
blank as ever (this was our euphemism for remaining sexually pure
till marriage). I have resolved in my heart that I will keep
that page clean and intact just for you. This is because I love
your heart, personality and charm.
I'm sure you know there is much to bear. It is not easy. It has
never been and will never be. But one thing I know is that the
faithful God who has kept us up to this time will help us to
stand against the devil. Sometimes back I came across a book
called, "It is worth waiting.” I must confess that even though
waited, I did not understand much until I had met someone for
whom the waiting was worth. Now I can speak through experience
that you make the waiting all worthwhile. God's desire to bless
us is greater than Satan's power to defeat us. Ours is to
understand the height and dept of his love for us and save
ourselves for Him and for each other.
Thanks for trusting me. I trust you with my whole heart. Frankly
speaking, I have learnt to take you at your word, that is to mean
that your life has won my confidence. I had and met other guys
but I haven't found one like you, never. Your being away for just
these few months have seemed like years to me. No amount of time
will change my feelings towards you in any way. We will meet
again one day and enjoy what we have so desired for each other.
