Kindness shown by a husband submitted to the Singles section 12/31/07
I read the following a long time ago in a magazine about how a hsuband showed consideration for his wife.
The wife when a young child loved horses. When she married, she and her husband had more than one child, and during those years the wife had no opportunity for her to live her interest in horses. So one day after the youngest child left for college, the husband casually said to his wife [paraphrased] 'Lets go for a ride in the car.' So the husband drove for a while and eventually was driving in the country side. The husband spotted a horse in the field, and said to the wife 'Hey look there at the horse. I remember when you were young you had a passion for horses, so lets go over to the animal." The wife was all excited about this.
While the wife was petting the animal, a farmer came over and talked to them. The wife was told that the hausband previously purchased the horse for her and waiting to surprise his wife with this when the opportunity arose, and the farmer had agreed to shelter the anivmal between the wifes visits. The wife was ecstatic with joy.
I marveled at this story of a husband's love and interest in his wife's happiness. And I think other singles would enjoy this story.
I am sure it's okay for me to write similar stories i remember i read about in the past concerning happy marriages.
