Absence does make the heart grow fonder
I have been married to my wonderful wife for 14 years. I am currently deployed in Iraq. While this has been hard at times, she is the one carrying the burden with the homefront. During this time apart, I have really fallen in love with her all over again. We have always had a solid relationship, but my heart actually aches for her.
This has really made us both realize that we cannot take each other for granted. You just never know what could happen next. I cherish each letter, card, email, or phone call I have with my bride. I can hardly wait to look into her beautiful blue eyes and tell her I love her with all my heart!
