The Perfect Gift
What are you supposed to give a man who has everything? I have heard this question so many times before and never imagined it would be so hard to find a perfect gift for my fiancee. But on two occasions at least I have had this problem. He always buys things when he wants them no matter what it is so I had to become very creative. So, for our first anniversary together I purchased an enormous brandy glass and decorated is with shredded paper at the bottom and filled it full of kisses, hugs and memories. The kisses and hugs were obviously Hershey's and for the memories I printed out song lyrics, poems, and personal memories together then I made them scrolls and tied them with ribbons. He adored it and displayed it as a centerpiece on his dining room table for quite a while it was a perfect gift.
On our second anniversary the problem presented itself again, what do I get him this time. So, this time I gave him our very own memory lane. Using the internet and the paint program on my pc I created a street with store fronts then pasted many of the places we have been together i.e. Tropicana, Ruby Tuesday's, Florida street signs, other street signs. I also included our camper we love to enjoy in the summers and picture of each of the kids for the shop front windows. It came out adorable and he could definitely see the thought and time I had put into it he was very impressed even showing this one off as well. We love to look at and through each of these gifts on our anniversaries or our special evenings together.
