Loooong Engagement
Nothing was harder then waiting to take the love of my life into a very intimate embrace. We had been dating for 3 years and near the end of our engagement my wife and I had become emotionally very close. It was hard to be close emotionally without it leading to physical intimacy. However on the day of our wedding, my thoughts were constantly slipping away to what we would be doing that evening. It ended up that we were both very tired and drained and that was somewhat of a letdown. The honeymoon was GREAT.
