It was worth it
We dated for 1 yr and 2 months before getting married. We had close times of kissing and going further than we probably should have, but I'm so glad we never got under the clothes or had sex before marriage. God was good to us to keep us from that.
Now that we've been married for over 20 years, and I'm in the ministry, it is INVALUABLE to let folks know, from experience, that it is WORTH the wait.
Also, I thought I was going slow on our first night, but as it turns out, I wasn't. So my advice to all you guys out there who are engaged, and a virgin, take it so slow, that she is the one who tells you when she's ready! You can't have too much foreplay the first night for her, I don't think. God bless, and remember...WAIT!
