Cheap Valentines Costume Idea
With this current economy I thought this year I would try to save a few dollars and not go out and buy a new sexy Valentines outfit to entertain my hubby with. I already have a lot of nice and naughty lingerie so I thought I would try to be more creative (read frugal) this year and incorporate what I already have with a few cheap additions.
After a bit of study and searching and thought I have decided what I would do, and I thought I would share it with some other ladies if they were looking to make a great Valentine memory for just a few dollars this year.
Last weekend, while he was out with some friends I ran down to the local discount department store and bought myself some cheap fishnet hose, a black pair and a red pair. I paid $4 for each pair, so I was out of less then $10.
I already have some really nice fishnets which are fun to wear, but I had a different plan for these cheaper ones. I rushed home and cut the feet off of them and the crotch out too. No, I am not going where you think…stay with me…LOL.
I pulled out my sheer black bra and boy shorts panty set and slipped them on. Then I added my good black fishnets with black garters. Then I pulled the cut cheap black fishnets over my head and had myself a nice little sheer fishnet top for $4. I added my black heels and I looked pretty good in the mirror.
I quickly pulled the black set off and tried the same concept with the red. That time I used my red lace bra and g-string set, my good red fishnets and garters with patent red 4” spike heels. The cheap red fishnets made a great top as well.
Just as I was checking myself out in the red set in the mirror I heard the garage door. I barely got out the red set, and hid the black set, and got into some jeans and a sweatshirt (I slipped a bra on later) before hubby got upstairs.
Bottom line, for less than $10, I created myself two sheer fishnet tops that I can model and wear for hubby and that I know will turn him on. Of course I could mix and match the red and black too for other looks. With all the other black and red lingerie I have I have lots of other outfits I can create / try out on him. I plan to use these tops for a strip show sometime or maybe go braless with only one of my new tops on. I might go back and get some sheer hose, make the same adjustments, and make a few more tops actually as these looked so good and cost so little. Heck I might even let him tear them off me they are so cheap…LOL. I never let him do that with my expensive lingerie.
The only problem I have now is waiting until Vday to show them off to him. He will really be shocked and surprised. I hope some other ladies will give this a try and maybe it will even inspire some other creative outfits this Valentine's day or throughout the year.
