A night to remember
This is a perfect idea for celebrating an Anniversary together.
Start by booking a room in a local hotel, but don't tell your spouse just yet. Earlier in the day, stop over to the hotel with a box of memories from when you and your spouse had first met. Spread the memories all throughout the room. If it is anything like what we have, it would be enough to cover the entire room. You can almost make a trail starting with the earlier days and leading to the days that you were married. Having the later memories on the night stand by the bed. Do you see where this is heading?
That night, tell your spouse that you have something special planned for your Anniversary and then take her to the hotel. First off, she will think, "what a wonderful idea", but will really be surprised when you both walk in to a room full of your wonderful memories. Believe me, you will spend hours sharing a lot of beautiful times spent together.
Doing something like this is almost impossible to do at home, because there is always interruptions. Plus, being in a hotel room alone together certainly can be romantic in itself. It will truly bring back some of the feelings that you shared when you first fell in love. What will most likely happen as you continue to read through old love letters and look at other memorabilia, things will slowly start to "heat up" and it won't be long before you'll be making more memories to add to the box.
