We waited
My wife and I try to have a date night as often as possible. We often take turns choosing what we will do so that we both get a chance to "take each other out." Life moves by so quickly that scheduling these times are important for us and help us actually take the time to look at each other, talk to each other without distractions, and make that connection. I'm deeply in love with my wife and want to make time for her so that we can maintain and grow in each other. One of the activities we engage in sometimes is going dancing. It is amazing how dancing can help you connect. The movement, touch, and oneness of dancing, shadows the relationship. Thank goodness both of us enjoy it; I know some couples don't enjoy it because one partner may be embarrassed or not as skilled. I think just a normal slow dance can be very connecting. I'm looking forward to my date night this week.
