Dieting is the first step, but then there is a second step: keeping the weight off.
I had told my husband before we got married that I would lose weight after we got married but that never happened. Instead, I had four children and gained weight, keeping 5 pounds after each one plus an extra 5 pounds after the last one. I would diet a little and lose 5 to 10 pounds and before I knew it, I would find those 5 to 10 pounds back on me.
It was a bit of a sore spot in our marriage, but my husband made the decision to love me and accept me the way I was.
After 21 years of marriage and years of extra weight I have finally lost that baby fat.
