Who should make up the rules as to what is permissible in a Christian marriage? Should the Pastors? Should the rules be based on tradition? Or should the rules come from the Bible?
An interesting verse that may have some bearing on this is Jeremiah 5:31 which reads, "The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority,and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end?"
The correct answer is that the rules, as to what a married couple can do in their bedroom, should be based on the Bible - not on tradition and not on what priests or pastors make up.
The Bible does not condemn married couples who read stories or watch videos to help their love life. So pastors should not condemn them either.
