My husband and I met when I was a freshman and he was a senior in college. We were both Christians and had very similar ideas of how our relationship should be. While others around us were hooking up and drinking all the time, neither of us wished to do anything sexual. Our idea of a good Sunday was spending three hours in church and then going out for lunch and mini-golf. It was very difficult to keep our boundaries firm, but because we both felt so strongly about it, it was easy for one of us to keep the other in line if we had a weak moment. We got married after I graduated college, and have been married now for 2 years. I would definitely recommend waiting until the wedding night to absolutely anyone- words cannot express how amazing it is! We made sure to take an extra long honeymoon so that we could fully celebrate and enjoy our new beginning of a life long journey. Our love for Christ has definitely held our relationship together and I cannot imagine being with anyone else.
