Title: "It's a lot of work but worth it"  Author: Unknown

My husband and I have been married for 13 years. We have 4 kids together and as I'm sure it can be imagined a busy life. My best advice to give anyone struggling is to learn quickly to ask for what you want instead of waiting for him to give it to you. Odds are you will never get it and you'll be mad over something he had no clue you needed. When my daughter was born I was so mad that every time she cried through the night I would be the one to get up. He made no effort. So I started to do what many women do and throw the biggest tantrum every time I had to get up. I was sure to rip the covers off him, flick the light on, make as much noise as humanly possible if I was getting up so was he! To my disappointment the man slept right through it all! Finally one night I had enough. I shook him until I was sure he was awake and screamed go get her! He got up nice and calmly and said okay" like he was happy to do it. I was stunned. Not that at times in our marriage I don't mind read, "If he loved me he would", etc. but I am getting better. Try it and you'll see most men are just clueless to some needs and that's okay we can appreciate a willingness to try :)

A reader says ... Yes, sometimes we in the male species are clueless... but hopefully it doesn't take a scream to get our attention! :)
