I had my tubes tied in October. Our son is 5 years old and I had been on the pill for 17 years total other than the year of conceiving/pregnancy. After a few weeks of recoup time after the tubal, I was ready to be with my husband again. Our sex life has improved since there is no longer the worry of having to plan, take birth control, time it correctly, etc. No worries other than pleasing each other! I am enjoying it so much more and am able to relax and only focus on being together. It was a nice surprise to experience some fresh excitment after 12 years of marriage :) Our intimacy seems so much more passionate and free. I love the extended foreplay and playfulness that has returned to our relationship. If I would have known the result, I would have had it done several years ago!
